Publishers, Artists, and Vendors

“Last year was our first year of touring, and the Kensington Day of the Book was one of our first stops. It was a delightful festival… I would like to say that there were some great exhibitors, but we were so busy with attendees coming to our table that I wasn’t able to go more than a few tables in either direction. Several of our authors were able to join us and they all enjoyed their experiences and many will be returning with us this year…in the charming downtown of Kensington to celebrate the Day of the Book.”

With their well-known flare and good cheer, Firouzeh and two or more other WMAS members will demonstrate a number of picture-making techniques, answer any questions on that subject which attendees may ask, and in particular welcome conversations with children (and their parents) who’d like to know just what art’s all about and how to get started in it. Hand-painted bookmarks will be given out free as keepsakes in honor of literature worldwide. An assortment of small framed paintings will be on sale at reasonable rates. (Gift buyers, take note.)
