Gival Press is committed to publishing fine literary works which provoke the reader to contemplate. Because we cannot publish all the manuscripts which come our way, we began an online journal: www.ArLiJo.com to feature the works of authors and poets as well as artists.

Dale A. Sorenson, Ph.D. was Founder and President of Waverly Auctions from 1978 – 2004, for nearly 200 auctions he appraised and cataloged fine and rare books, maps and atlases, fine prints and graphics, autographs and manuscripts. Waverly Auctions was located for most of those years in Bethesda, Maryland. During that time and serving both a domestic and international demand, Waverly Auctions was held in high esteem for integrity and honesty, and accuracy in cataloging.
Dale will be giving free rare book evaluations at his table.

Where In The World – Global is a small sole-proprietorship business, registered in Maryland / Montgomery County, specializing in new children’s books about people and cultures around the world. Most are picture books for ages 3-9, but we also carry baby board books and some middle-school/teen fiction. Most of the books are published in the U.S., but we have a few from India, Indonesia, Singapore, Ireland, and the UK

Welcome, book lover! Books With A Past is an independent bookstore with two locations in Howard County, Maryland. The original store (the “mothership,” if you will) is located in western Howard County, just off I-70 in Glenwood. Our second store opened recently in historic Savage Mill. We offer a variety of genres, as well as literary-themed gifts, for your perusal. You are welcome to come in and browse, though of course we hope you will fall in love with some of our book or gift offerings and decide to give them a good home.
