Joan Garriga & the Galàctic Mariatxis are four musicians who connect the festive music of the Romani community in Catalonia with other popular music genres, creating a dialogue between different groups. Besides rumba catalana, which developed in Barcelona’s Romani community, they include other genres such as reggae, ballenato, cumbia, flamenco, and balería. The musical diversity and energy in their shows strives to connect the audience in emotion. They have recently released their first EP.

Eli August & The Abandoned Buildings is a chamber folk/rock band based out of Baltimore, Philadelphia, NYC and other similarly unoccupied locales.

The Sweat Shop Stage is located at the east end of the festival just past the train station.

Matthew Dayton is a musician, composer, and music educator based in Takoma Park. He specializes in singing original and cover songs with literary themes and cleverly constructed lyrics, accompanying himself on acoustic guitar or ukulele. He has been writing, performing, and teaching music for over a decade; and you can see examples of his various musical projects on his website.
The Poetry Stage is located on Howard Ave west of Fawcett St
Roman Kostovski is a singer/songwriter, poet and literary translator. His music will accompany the poetry readings throughout the day.
